The Cell Phone Signal Booster unit supports EITHER 1900 MHz OR 800 Mhz based phones - the YX Dual Band supports both - so PLEASE BE SURE WHICH FREQUENCY YOU NEED.! To determine what kind of service you have, contact your wireless service provider’s customer service department to verify that you are on an 800 or 1900 MHz cell phone system. In many cases, you can also visit wireless advisors, enter your zip code and locate your service provider to verify that your service is in the 1900 band.(Note: PCS systems run at 1900 MHz; Cellular systems runs at 1900 & 800 MHz., so check just to be sure!)
Note: If you can place a call outside your home or office, the Cell Phone Signal Booster unit will help you by boosting the signal inside the building. If you can place a call outside, but the signal is weak, consider an upgraded antenna. If there is no signal outside, this unit will not give you any improvement in coverage.
